Blog Post #4 Plans for Revision

 I plan to do a few things and make some revisions before I submit my final. I first plan to make a layout and jot down a few ideas of the way I want to order things. Second I will copy my literary review into the paper and make all the changes that the professor has suggested. Then I will finish the other sections making sure to reference the guides and requirements, so it meets everything necessary. Finally, I will review and edit the paper fixing any grammar, spelling, or other mistakes.

    Lexie,

    I like your plan and I think it will definitely aid in your composition of a great research proposal. I know that Dr. B really gives effective feedback for our literary review and I feel like if you add those changes and keep on top of that then you'll be in a good spot! I always love your writing.     Hey Lexie! I think your plan for completing this essay is going to be super successful! It sounds like you know exactly what you plan on doing. I'm sure that the info you receive from Dr. Bacabac will be super beenficial and will result in a very successful paper.

I have learned a lot in class about designing a sound research study. The biggest thing I learned was the types of study that you can preform and which type of research best fit with different projects. I think that this is extremely important to know in order to create a successful research study. While some projects can overlap in different ways they can be done, narrowing down the best type and clearly stating your research method can help you have a sound study.  This process has taught me several things as a technical and professional communicator. I learned that outlining my project, thoughts, and thinking will help keep my writings organized, well-structured, and the overall message flows better. Taking the time to outline my proposal saved me time when I was writing it. It kept me on point and focused on my main ideas and purpose.

Blog Post #3 Research Gap

 In all of my research I found only one other study analyzing the accessibility of a Courts webpage. Out of the 94 District Courts and 13 Courts of Appeal only one Federal Courts Webpage has been reviewed for accessibility. The gap is in this huge lack of research on the Court webpages. My plan is to research not only the accessibility but also the general understanding of the webpage, in other words would someone be able to read the information and understand what is being said. This two part research project would take Utah's Court website to analyze, then state findings and ways of improvement.
